A deliciously healthy and simple way to start off your day. And, the good news is it is easy to make.
One of my new year resolutions was to eat healthy every morning. This granola is helping me to fulfil this aim. Here comes the recipe.
Ingredients
150g rolled oats
50g walnuts
50g pistachios
50g almonds
50g hazelnuts
50g pumpkin seeds
50g sunflower seeds
3 tbsp hemp seeds
3 tbsp flax/linseed
3 tbsp sesame seeds
3 tbspchia seeds
3 tbsp teff seeds
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp cinnamon
120g runny honey
50g goji berries
50g raisins
Method
Spread the oats onto a lined baking tray and bake for 5 minutes at 200°C fan/ 425°F/ Gas 7.
Meanwhile, roughly chop the walnuts, pistachios and almonds. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the roasted oats, chopped nuts, all the seeds, vanilla extract, cinnamon and honey. Mix well.
Spread the granola in a single layer onto a lined baking tray (you may need two trays) so it becomes crispy.Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown at 170°C fan/ 375°F/ Gas 5. Then remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Add the goji berries and raisins and mix well.
Store in a sealed glass jar.
Enjoy!
